Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, polite, and target-oriented

School Admission Counsellor

to manage the complete admission process. The counsellor will be responsible for handling parent inquiries, counselling prospective parents and students, converting leads into admissions, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission experience.

Key Responsibilities Parent & Student Counselling

Handle walk-in, telephonic, online, and social media inquiries related to school admissions Counsel parents and students about school curriculum, academic programs, facilities, policies, and fee structure Understand parent requirements and recommend suitable programs or grades Build strong relationships with parents through effective communication and follow-ups
Lead Management & Conversion

Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing, advertisements, referrals, and campaigns Maintain and update lead data in CRM or admission registers Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions by meeting assigned targets Coordinate with the digital marketing team for lead quality and feedback
Admission Process Management

Explain admission procedures, eligibility criteria, documentation, and timelines clearly Assist parents in filling admission forms and collecting required documents Coordinate with accounts and administration for fee collection and confirmations Ensure timely completion of admission formalities
Parent Engagement & Support

Address parent queries, concerns, and objections professionally Provide accurate information regarding school policies, rules, and academic structure Maintain high levels of parent satisfaction throughout the admission journey
Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with academic, administration, and management teams Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports Maintain admission records and documentation accurately Participate in admission events, open houses, and promotional activities
Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Skills

Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in school admissions, counselling, or education sales Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to counsel and convince parents professionally Target-oriented mindset with a focus on conversions Good computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, basic CRM systems)
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline Experience in CBSE / ICSE / International School admissions is an advantage Fluency in English and local language(s)

Special Notes

Candidate must be comfortable with
