Job Description

The Education Counselor will guide students and parents in academic planning, course selection, and career pathways, while supporting admissions, student engagement, and retention. The role requires strong communication skills, student empathy, and knowledge of competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, NEET, and board curricula.

Key Responsibilities

Student & Parent Counseling

Counsel students and parents on course options (MPC/BiPC), competitive exams (IIT-JEE, NEET), and academic pathways Understand student aptitude, interests, and goals to provide appropriate guidance Address student concerns related to academics, stress, attendance, and performance

Admissions & Enrollment

Handle walk-in inquiries, calls, and online leads professionally Explain curriculum structure, teaching methodology, fee structure, and results Support admission process, documentation, and follow-ups for conversions

Academic Coordination

Coordinate with faculty and academic teams to monitor student progress Track attendance, test performance, and feedback Assist in identifying students needing academic or emotional support

Career Guidance

Provide basic guidance on career options after Intermediate (Engineering, Medicine, Pure Sciences, etc.) Educate students about entrance exams, timelines, and preparation strategies

Communication & Reporting

Maintain student records, counseling notes, and admission data Prepare periodic reports on inquiries, admissions, and student feedback Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress and concerns
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Hyderabad, Rangareddy - 500081, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:

Marketing: 4 years (Preferred)
