As an Admission Counselor, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective learners exploring our educational programs. Your role is to guide students through the admissions process, understand their career goals, and provide accurate information about our courses to help them make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Management & Student Counseling
Handle inbound and outbound calls to counsel prospective students on program suitability.
Understand learner needs, career aspirations, and educational background to recommend appropriate courses.
Follow up on assigned leads and maintain a healthy pipeline.
2. Admission Process Support
Guide students through the complete enrollment process, from inquiry to registration.
Provide detailed information on program curriculum, fees, payment plans, and admission requirements.
Ensure all documentation is collected accurately and timely.
3. Sales & Conversion
Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets.
Maintain high-quality engagement and conversion ratios through effective communication.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead flow and follow-up strategies.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Build strong rapport with prospective and enrolled students.
Maintain records and follow-ups in the CRM system.
Address student queries promptly and professionally.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with academic teams to ensure students receive correct and updated program details.
Provide feedback on student concerns, program expectations, and process improvements.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong persuasion and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with EdTech industry trends (preferred)
Basic understanding of CRM tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred Requirements
6 months to 1 year of experience in EdTech counseling, inside sales, or customer-facing roles
Degree-qualified (Bachelor's degree mandatory)
Proven track record of meeting sales/admission targets
