Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective students (phone, email, in-person) to explain programmes, admissions process, course structure, fee structure, scholarships and support services.
Provide counselling to students and parents, helping them choose the right course, understand eligibility, documentation, deadlines.
Guide applicants through the entire admission journey: from first enquiry ? campus visit/open house ? application submission ? acceptance ? enrolment.
Organise and conduct information sessions, open days, campus tours, workshops and outreach events .
Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, follow-ups, applications, admissions, using CRM tools or internal systems.
Meet monthly/quarterly targets for new student admissions, conversion rates, enrolment numbers.
Collaborate with marketing, academic departments, student services and finance teams for coordinated admissions efforts.
Provide feedback and insights into applicant trends, competitor programmes, market demands and help the institution adapt promotional strategies.
Ensure compliance with admission policies, data protection, deadlines, and regulatory requirements (AICTE, UGC, state/regional bodies as applicable).
Support orientation and onboarding of newly admitted students (e.g., welcome communications, induction sessions, clarifying next steps).
