Role Overview - Assistant Manager, Admission Counsellor
As an
Assistant Manager - Admission Counsellor
, you will be the first point of contact for prospective learners, helping them identify the right programs to achieve their professional goals. This is a
target-driven, individual contributor role
, focused on lead conversion and student success.
Key Responsibilities
Drive
inbound and outbound
calls, emails, and chat interactions to engage potential learners.
Convert leads into enrollments
for certification, upskilling, and postgraduate programs.
Counsel learners based on their
career aspirations, experience, and interests
to recommend the most suitable courses.
Make
100-150 calls per day
to nurture leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
Achieve and exceed
weekly/monthly enrollment targets
.
Maintain detailed and accurate
CRM records
of leads, interactions, and conversions.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for
smooth student onboarding
and experience.
Generate
referrals
through existing learners and alumni engagement.
Who Should ApplyMust-Haves
0-4 years of experience in
education counselling, inside sales, or EdTech sales
.
Excellent
spoken and written communication
skills in English.
Strong
sales acumen
- persuasive communication, objection handling, and urgency creation.
Ability to understand learner needs and offer
personalized recommendations
.
Hands-on experience with
CRM tools, Excel, and lead management platforms
.
Good to Have
Exposure to
tech courses, executive education
, or online degree programs.
Prior experience in a
fast-paced, target-oriented
