Job Title:

Admission counselor

Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one career pathway consultations with prospective students.

Guide students through the program selection process, answering questions about courses, fees, and career prospects.

Follow up with leads via calls, WhatsApp, and email to ensure continuous engagement.

Document all interactions in the CRM system for efficient tracking and follow-up.

Meet conversion quotas for student applications and enrollments.

Provide valuable feedback on common student concerns and share insights with the team.

Help students define and refine their career goals, providing advice on program selection, skill-building, and career planning.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless handovers from initial inquiries to full application processing.

Requirements:

1-2 years of counseling, sales, or customer service experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong ability to explain complex information simply and clearly.

Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on conversions and achieving targets.

Comfortable with technology and CRM systems.

Knowledge of the Indian higher education landscape and programs.

Empathetic approach to student concerns and career path decisions.

Key Performance Metrics:

Individual conversion rate (from initial inquiry to application).

Call booking rate (successful engagements with leads).

Student satisfaction ratings (feedback on consultations and overall experience).

Follow-up effectiveness (engagement and conversion success from follow-up efforts).
