Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education / Psychology / Child Development / Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) / Management / Social Work
Diploma or certification in Counselling, Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or Admissions Management preferred
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in school admissions, academic counselling, parent coordination, or a related role (experience in a
pre-school or early years
setting is strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of early childhood education, school readiness, and developmental needs of children aged 2-6 years
Familiarity with NEP 2020, NCF-FS, and Indian pre-primary education frameworks
Proven ability to counsel parents effectively during the admissions decision-making process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi and/or Gujarati is an added advantage)
Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic, and professional approach towards parents and caregivers
Ability to clearly articulate the school's philosophy, curriculum, and teaching-learning practices
High organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation, data management, and follow-ups
Comfort with basic computer applications - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and CRM/school management systems
Ability to manage multiple enquiries, deadlines, and parent interactions efficiently
Strong work ethic, confidentiality, and professionalism
Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Responsibilities
Managing the end-to-end admissions process for the pre-school, from enquiry handling to final enrolment
Acting as the first point of contact for prospective parents, addressing academic and admissions-related queries
Conducting school tours, parent counselling sessions, and orientation meetings
Clearly explaining the school's curriculum framework, pedagogy, daily routines, and learning outcomes
Guiding parents on programme suitability, age criteria, and school readiness for their child
Coordinating with academic teams to ensure accurate and consistent communication with parents
Maintaining and updating admissions data, enquiry records, and documentation
Following up with prospective parents to support timely decision-making and enrolment
Supporting smooth onboarding of new families, including documentation verification and academic briefings
Addressing parent concerns professionally and escalating academic matters when required
Assisting in planning and executing open houses, admission events, and parent information sessions
Collaborating with marketing and outreach teams to ensure consistent academic messaging
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and documentation standards during the admissions process
Building long-term relationships with families to support student retention and parent satisfaction
