Job Summary:
The
Admission Counsellor cum Social Media & Marketing Manager
will handle the end-to-end admission process along with school branding and digital promotions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, IT, and creative skills, with the ability to manage both admission records and social media presence professionally. The role demands an organized, proactive, and presentable individual who can engage effectively with parents and promote the school's image through online and offline platforms.
Key Responsibilities:1. Admission Counselling & Process Management
Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online admission enquiries.
Counsel prospective parents about curriculum, facilities, and school ethos.
Conduct school tours and presentations.
Manage the
complete admission process
-- from enquiry to final enrolment.
Maintain
proper paper filing
of all admission-related documents.
Enter and update data regularly in the
ERP system
and admission registers.
Prepare enquiry and conversion reports for management review.
2. Marketing & Social Media Management
Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities for admissions.
Manage all school social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create engaging content --
posts, reels, stories, newsletters
, and event highlights.
Use
Canva
and similar tools for designing posters and digital creatives.
Monitor page insights, SEO, and digital visibility to increase engagement.
Support in conducting school marketing events, education fairs, and outreach programs.
3. Communication & Presentation
Maintain effective communication with prospective parents, existing parents, and internal departments.
Draft emails, admission brochures, and promotional materials.
Present weekly admission status and marketing performance reports to management.
4. Record Management & Documentation
Maintain up-to-date admission files, enquiry registers, and student records.
Ensure proper documentation for each student -- including forms, ID proofs, and fee details.
Coordinate with the accounts team for fee confirmations and reconciliations.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent
communication and presentation skills.
Strong
IT proficiency
-- MS Office, Google Workspace, ERP handling, Canva.
Good knowledge of
social media marketing and SEO.
Creative skills
in making reels, posters, and online campaigns.
Strong
organizational and record-keeping
ability.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and people-oriented approach.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, IT, Mass Communication, or Education.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a school setup (PRT Computer Science background preferred).
Prior experience in
admission counselling
or
marketing
is highly desirable.
