The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students, handling inquiries, providing course counseling, and ensuring smooth enrollment. The role requires strong communication skills, follow-up discipline, and the ability to achieve admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries from prospective students.
Counsel students on suitable courses based on their interests and career goals.
Provide clear information regarding programs, fee structure, batches, and the admission process.
Conduct regular follow-ups with leads to convert them into admissions.
Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets set by the management.
Manage student registrations, documentation, and fee collection.
Coordinate with academic teams to plan batches and ensure smooth student onboarding.
Support marketing activities such as seminars, counseling events, and promotional drives.
Update and maintain student data in CRM/MIS systems.
Prepare daily/weekly admission reports and share updates with the center head or management.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1-3 years of experience in counseling/sales (education sector preferred).
Strong communication, convincing, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under targets and manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools).
