Job Description

The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective parents and students through the school's admission process. The role involves responding to inquiries, providing accurate information about the school's programs and policies, conducting campus tours, coordinating entrance assessments, and ensuring a smooth and professional admission experience.

Key Responsibilities:1. Inquiry Handling & Communication



Respond to admission inquiries via phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms. Cold Calling and follow up on leads and better connections with parents Provide detailed information about the school, curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission procedures. Maintain a professional and welcoming approach while interacting with parents and students.

2. Admission Process Management



Schedule and coordinate student interactions, interviews, and assessments. Maintain admission records and track applicant status in the school's MIS/CRM system. Ensure timely follow-up with parents to guide them through each stage of the process.

3. Campus Tours & Presentations



Conduct guided school tours for parents and prospective students. Present the school's offerings, values, and strengths effectively.

4. Documentation & Compliance



Verify and collect required documents as per school policy. Maintain accurate student files and ensure compliance with admission guidelines.

5. Coordination & Collaboration



Work closely with the academic, administration, and finance teams for smooth onboarding. Assist the marketing team during admission events, open houses, and promotional activities.

6. Reporting & Data Management



Prepare regular reports on inquiries, conversions, and admission trends. Track and meet admission targets set by the management.

Qualifications & Skills:



Prior experience in counseling, customer service, or sales--preferably in an educational institution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
