Job Title: Admission CounselorLocation: [Mukherje Nagar, Delhi]Department: AdmissionsReports to: [Director of Admissions/Head of Enrollment]Job Summary:The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic programs, and assisting in the evaluation of applications. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the institution's offerings, and a commitment to recruiting students who will contribute to the diverse and vibrant campus community.Key Responsibilities:- Student Recruitment: Proactively reach out to prospective students through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions, answering inquiries and providing information on the admissions process, academic programs, scholarships, and campus life.- Application Review: Assist in reviewing and processing applications for admission, including assessing academic records, standardized test scores, essays, and letters of recommendation.- Admissions Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families regarding the application process, eligibility, and enrollment steps.- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in recruitment events, campus tours, information sessions, and high school visits to attract prospective students.- Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with prospective students, guiding them through each step of the application process and answering any questions.- Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, and other departments to promote the institution's programs and support the overall recruitment and admissions strategy.- Data Management: Track and maintain records of interactions with prospective students in the admissions database.
