We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Admission Counsellor/Career Advisor. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by providing them with valuable guidance and support as they embark on their academic and professional journeys.

As an Admission Counsellor/Career Advisor at Chandigarh University, you will be responsible for:
1. Assisting prospective students in the admissions process by providing them with detailed information about our academic programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
2. Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their educational and career goals, interests, and strengths, and helping them choose the right academic program that aligns with their aspirations.
3. Providing career counseling and guidance to students to help them explore various career pathways and make informed decisions about their future endeavors.
4. Organizing and participating in career fairs, workshops, and seminars to educate students about various career opportunities and industry trends.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other educational institutions to promote Chandigarh University and attract talented students to our programs.
6. Collaborating with the admissions team to streamline the admissions process and ensure a seamless experience for prospective students.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the education and job market, and providing relevant information and resources to students to enhance their career prospects.
To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A bachelor's degree in counseling, education, psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in admissions counseling, career advising, or student counseling in an educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and inspire them to pursue their goals.
- Knowledge of educational and career assessment tools and resources to help students make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills to conduct workshops and events effectively.
- A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest trends in education and career development.
