The Role
We're looking for an Admissions Counsellor who will be the first point of contact for families exploring AAIS. This is primarily a phone-based role, focused on reaching out to inbound leads generated through our website, social media channels, and digital campaigns.
Your role is to understand what parents are looking for, share what makes AAIS unique, and help them decide if we're the right fit for their child. You'll work from our campus, giving you first-hand exposure to our classrooms, teachers, and everyday culture -- so every conversation you have is grounded in authenticity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement & Follow-up
Promptly reach out to all inbound enquiries received via the school website, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital channels
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand parent expectations, child's age/grade, and their priorities in choosing a school
Provide clear, accurate information about AAIS -- our curriculum, campuses, admissions process, fee structure, and what sets us apart
Follow up consistently with interested families, nurturing leads through the decision-making journey
Scheduling & Coordination
Schedule campus visits, school tours, and Parent Open House (POH) sessions
Coordinate with the Admissions Head and campus teams to ensure a smooth experience for visiting families
Send timely reminders and confirmations to parents ahead of scheduled visits
Database & Reporting
Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of all parent interactions in the admissions CRM/database
Track lead sources, conversion stages, and follow-up status
Who We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline
1-4 years of work experience; prior experience in telesales, customer service, or parent-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory
Freshers with strong communication skills and the right attitude are welcome to apply
Skills & Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
A warm, approachable phone manner -- you make people feel heard, not hurried
Ability to build genuine rapport with parents and handle their concerns with empathy and patience
Strong organisational skills -- you can manage multiple conversations and follow-ups without dropping the ball
Comfortable with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic digital platforms
A team player who takes ownership and follows through on commitments
