Conduct informational sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families.
Evaluate applications and academic credentials to determine eligibility for admission.
Participate in college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.
Maintain regular communication with prospective students through phone, email, and social media.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process.
Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
Provide personalized counseling to applicants regarding admission requirements and financial aid options.
Review and process admission applications and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses.
Utilize CRM software to manage and track recruitment activities.
Admissions Counselor Qualifications & Skills
Experience in higher education admissions or student services.
Knowledge of enrollment management software and CRM systems.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to travel for recruitment events and activities.
Proficiency in multiple languages.
Experience with social media marketing and engagement.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Master's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
