Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prospective Student Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing comprehensive information about academic programs, admissions procedures, and campus facilities.
Counseling and Guidance:
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student aspirations and recommend suitable programs, ensuring alignment with their career goals.
Application Process Management:
Assist applicants in completing application forms, gathering necessary documentation, and submitting materials within specified deadlines.
Information Sessions and Campus Tours:
Organize and conduct information sessions, campus tours, and open houses to showcase the institution's offerings and facilities.
Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospective students, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality .Experian
Collaboration with Marketing Team:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for student recruitment and retention.Expertia
Feedback and Reporting:
Collect feedback from prospective students and provide insights to improve the admissions process and overall student experience.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A Master's degree in Education or related field is a plus.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or a related field, preferably within the education sector.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Internshala
