As the 'face' of the school the she should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organized, able to multi-task, work flexibly and have a 'can do' approach to work.
Roles & Responsibilities-
To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, extending a warm welcome to callers, including parents, visitors.
Communicating with parents regarding all aspects of school life, receiving and passing on information between parents and teachers in a timely manner
Guide prospective students and walk-ins through the application and admission process
Assess and review applications and supporting documents.
Provide information on school programs, admission procedures.
Maintain records of prospective and admitted students
Plan marketing strategies & Conduct presentations about the institution to prospective students and their families
Review applications and make recommendations for admission decisions.
To deal effectively with telephone calls, transferring callers to relevant staff, and taking and passing on messages as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Admission Counsellor / Receptionist or similar role in the education field.
Strong presentation and communication skills, English is a must.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with a diverse student population.
Bachelor's degree, Counseling, Marketing, or related field.
Salary- 10-15K /- per month
