Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and parents. The role involves guiding students toward the right career path, clearly explaining academic offerings, and converting enquiries into confirmed admissions. This is a communication- and target-driven role requiring proactive calling, lead management, follow-ups, counselling, and end-to-end admission support.
The position demands excellent communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and a strong goal-oriented mindset.
Counsel students and parents regarding various competitive exam preparation programs.
Understand students' needs, strengths, and aspirations and guide them toward the most suitable course.
Clearly explain program structure, teaching methodology, and success outcomes.
2. Lead Generation & Follow-ups
Make daily outbound calls to fresh leads generated through campaigns, events, digital platforms, and referrals.
Reconnect with inactive or old leads to revive interest.
Handle walk-ins, inbound calls, and WhatsApp enquiries.
Maintain consistent follow-ups until conversion with timely reminders and guidance.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
3. Admission Process Management
Conduct counselling sessions, course briefings, and centre tours.
Assist students with admission forms, documentation, and fee payment processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM or internal systems.
4. Coordination & Events
Coordinate with academic teams for demo classes, scholarship tests, and orientation sessions.
Represent the organization at seminars, school visits, education fairs, and outreach programs.
Support marketing and student engagement teams during campaigns and events.
5. Communication & Student Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
Provide timely updates, reminders, and support throughout the admission journey.
Handle queries with patience, professionalism, and strong product knowledge.
