The Admission Counsellor will be the primary point of contact for prospective students and parents. This role involves guiding students toward suitable academic programs, explaining course offerings, and converting inquiries into confirmed admissions.
The position is communication- and target-driven, requiring proactive calling, lead handling, follow-ups, counselling, and admissions conversion. The ideal candidate should demonstrate empathy, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
Counsel students and parents regarding various entrance exam preparation programs.
Understand students' academic background, goals, and aspirations to recommend appropriate courses.
Clearly explain course structure, teaching methodology, and success outcomes.
2. Lead Generation & Follow-ups
Make daily outbound calls to fresh leads generated via marketing campaigns, events, social media, and referrals.
Reconnect with inactive or old leads to revive interest.
Handle walk-ins, inbound calls, and WhatsApp/email inquiries.
Ensure consistent follow-ups until conversion.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
3. Admission Process Management
Conduct counselling sessions, course briefings, and center tours.
Assist students with admission forms, documentation, and fee processes.
Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM or internal systems.
4. Coordination & Events
Coordinate with academic teams for demo classes, scholarship tests, and orientations.
Represent the organization at seminars, school visits, education fairs, and outreach programs.
Support marketing and student engagement initiatives.
5. Communication & Relationship Management
Build strong, long-term relationships with students and parents.
Provide timely updates, reminders, and admission-related support.
Handle queries professionally with patience and clarity.
