The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for making outbound/inbound calls, handling admission inquiries, explaining course details, and converting leads into successful admissions. The role requires strong communication skills, convincing ability, and student-friendly interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective students and respond to incoming inquiries.
Counsel students/parents over the phone regarding available courses, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.
Understand the candidate's academic background and guide them to choose the right program.
Maintain and update daily call logs, lead status, and student information in CRM/Excel.
Follow up regularly with interested students until admission is completed.
Assist students with the admission process, documentation, and form filling.
Achieve daily call targets and monthly admission conversion goals.
Handle objections politely and resolve queries effectively.
Coordinate with the admission team for scheduling counselling sessions.
Ensure excellent communication and a professional attitude during every interaction.
Required Skills
Strong verbal communication skills (Hindi/English)
Good listening and convincing skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM usage)
Ability to multitask and handle pressure
Positive attitude and confidence while speaking
Customer service mindset
Qualifications
Minimum 12th pass; Graduation preferred
Prior experience in counselling/telecalling is an added advantage
Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
