Position Overview:
We are seeking a
proactive and driven Admission Counsellor
with a flair for sales and student engagement. This role combines career counselling with business development, focusing on converting inquiries into successful admissions through personalized guidance and solution-driven communication.
Note:
We are not considering freshers for this position. Prior experience in a similar role is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for
walk-in and online inquiries
, effectively presenting our training programs and career development offerings.
Understand the unique needs of each prospective student and provide
customized counselling
to help them choose the right course.
Proactively follow up with leads generated through
digital marketing, referrals, tele-calling, events, and social media
to ensure timely conversions.
Consistently
meet and exceed monthly admission targets
through structured and strategic follow-up.
Maintain a detailed database of leads, follow-ups, admissions, and feedback using CRM tools or internal systems.
Build strong relationships with students and create a
positive enrollment experience
through professionalism and trust.
Collaborate with the
marketing and technical teams
to stay aligned with course updates, certifications, promotions, and placement assistance strategies.
Contribute to the planning and execution of
seminars, webinars, career talks, and campus visits
for outreach and brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree
in any field (BBA, BTech ,B.Com, B.Sc. preferred);
MBA/PG Diploma
in Sales, Marketing, or Counselling is an added advantage.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- must be confident in both English and regional languages.
Highly
self-motivated, target-driven
, and customer-focused mindset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in
education counselling, ed-tech, or business development
