Role Overview

The Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for handling parent enquiries, counselling prospective families, and converting leads into confirmed admissions while delivering a warm and informed parent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Handle walk-ins, calls, emails, and online enquiries from prospective parents Conduct detailed counselling sessions explaining curriculum, pedagogy, and facilities Schedule and coordinate school tours, interactions, and admissions meetings Follow up with leads systematically to ensure timely conversions Assist parents with application forms, documentation, and admission procedures Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions status Support admissions events, open houses, and outreach activities Coordinate with internal teams for fee details, transport, hostel, and onboarding Ensure professionalism and responsiveness at all parent touchpoints

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Empathy and ability to counsel parents effectively Organized, detail-oriented, and follow-up driven Comfortable working with targets and timelines Proficiency in basic MIS tools, CRM, or spreadsheets

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in any discipline (Education background preferred) 1-4 years of experience in school admissions, counselling, or education sales Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered
