The Admission Counsellor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents, providing guidance on courses, eligibility, admission procedures, and campus life. The role requires excellent communication skills, data handling, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful admissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online admission inquiries and maintain systematic follow-up.
Counsel students and parents on academic programs, eligibility, and career options.
Guide applicants through the admission process and documentation requirements.
Coordinate admission interviews, entrance tests, and orientation sessions.
Maintain and update the admission database, enquiry registers, and MIS reports.
Support outreach activities such as PU College visits, education fairs, and digital campaigns.
Collaborate with academic departments and the marketing team to ensure a seamless admission experience.
Assist in preparing admission-related reports for IQAC and management review.
Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to institutional admission policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in any discipline (preferred: Education, Management, or Communication).
2-4 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or customer relations (educational institution preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office and student information systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
