The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the entire admission process--from initial enquiry to enrolment--ensuring a positive experience for prospective parents and students. The role involves guiding parents through school programs, coordinating admission activities, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Handle admission enquiries (walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online leads) and follow up promptly.
Counsel prospective parents and students regarding curriculum, facilities, fee structure, and admission process.
Maintain and update the enquiry and admission database regularly.
Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to schedule school visits, interviews, and assessments.
Support in organizing admission campaigns, open houses, school fairs, and outreach events.
Ensure all admission documentation is complete and filed accurately.
Prepare daily/weekly admission reports and share updates with management.
Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming approach to all visitors.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation and brand visibility.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Education, Marketing, or related field).
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in admissions, counselling, or customer relations (preferably in a school or educational setup).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Positive attitude, patience, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Schedule
Working Days:
Monday to Saturday , Alternate Sundays (Rotational Basis)
Compensation
As per industry standards and experience.
