The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about courses, eligibility, and campus life, and helping them make informed decisions about their education. The role involves handling inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, and meeting enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students and parents on course options, admission procedures, and eligibility criteria.
Handle walk-ins, phone, and online inquiries effectively.
Maintain follow-up communication with potential leads via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
Schedule and conduct counseling sessions (in-person and virtual).
Assist students in completing application forms and gathering necessary documents.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Maintain records of student interactions and follow-up status in CRM or Excel sheets.
Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth admissions.
Participate in marketing events, seminars, and school/college visits as needed.
Stay updated on new courses, university tie-ups, and education trends.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and persuasion abilities.
Good computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools, email, etc.).
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (preferred).
Confident, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
