The Admission Counsellor is responsible for handling student enquiries, guiding students about various courses, converting leads into admissions, and ensuring a smooth admission process. The role requires excellent communication skills, a student-friendly approach, and strong follow-up ability.
Attend walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and online enquiries.
Provide detailed information about BPSC and other competitive exam courses.
Counsel students and parents regarding career goals, course suitability, and future prospects.
Maintain in-depth knowledge about course curriculum, faculty, batch schedules and exam patterns.
Lead Management & Conversion
Manage leads generated through marketing, social media, referrals, or field visits.
Maintain follow-up with potential students until final admission.
Achieve monthly admission targets and conversion goals.
Documentation & Admissions
Guide students through the registration and admission process.
Maintain proper documentation of enrolments, receipts, ID cards, and batch allotments.
Coordinate with the accounts team regarding fee collection and instalments.
Coordination & Support
Work closely with academic coordinators and faculty for batch planning.
Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, scholarship tests, and counselling sessions.
Support marketing team in promotional activities and student outreach programs.
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain updated data of enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and drop-outs.
Prepare daily/weekly admission reports for management review.
3. Skills & Qualifications Required
Minimum qualification: Graduation (Any stream).
Strong communication, convincing ability & interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM/LMS tools).
Experience in counselling or sales in education sector preferred.
Knowledge of BPSC and competitive exam patterns will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under targets and pressure.
