Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client's software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA's ensuring client satisfaction

CBR - 180K, pune - PostgreSQL Database Admin


Provide world-class support and expertise for Mastercard's Postgres database environments.
Mastercard's Database Architects set the direction for enterprise leadership by designing and building highly available, scalable, and efficient solutions that adhere to standards and security policies.
Represent Mastercard's Database Engineering team as a subject matter expert in EDB Postgres, Postgres Distributed (PGD), and AWS relational database services.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and integrate technologies and platforms within the Postgres and related domains.
Provide leadership and contribute to technology roadmaps supporting Mastercard's vision for Postgres and other relational database technologies.
Possess experience with data migration and integration across multiple systems.

Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining EDB Postgres, PGD and AWS RDS database clusters to support large-scale platforms and applications.
Create and manage fully functional database clusters across development, QA, and production environments, with experience in performance tuning.
