Key Responsibilities:




Packaging aminstrative/Technican profile




Supports site DMS (Document Management System) by providing data and input for all applicable


packaging fields for any material changes. Examples could include, supplier information, repack


instructions, packaging attributes in the 'Plan for Every Part' (PFEP) data, wash/maintenance and


frequency


Reinforces packaging materials and method compliance in accordance with Cummins Global


Packaging Standards.


Provides requested information to support packaging non-conformance reporting in the Cummins


Quality Management System.


Collaborates with Packaging Engineering and Quality in identifying improvement opportunities and


developing action plans to resolve packaging non-conformances.


Assists in the development and implementation of action plans to prevent packaging defects that


may affect production part quality.


Participates in continuous improvement activities related to packaging as requested.


Gathers and records packaging specification data for inbound and outbound materials,

creating




specifications in the PDMS support global EBU plants




Performs regular packaging audits against specifications and Global Packaging Standards


Reports violations and follows the relevant corrective action methodology either through CQMS,


SQE's or procurement for direct contact with the suppler


Attends all site required forums for example HSE Committee, Quality Committee


Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)


Stops work and immediately reports any major injury hazards, work-related Injury, illness or


incident.


Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.


Uses appropriate personal protective equipment.

program that delivers savings in material and transportation while reducing waste.


Environmentally Sustainable Packaging Principles - Outlines the environmentally sustainable


packaging material selection and its life cycle impact by describing selection criteria, performance


considerations and application in designing order to achieve the goal to reduce, reuse, recycle or


reclaim.


Packaging Distribution Conditions and Dynamics - Recognizes environmental conditions and dynamic


forces placed on packaging in supply chains by explaining the hazards and corresponding


requirements that ensure product protection.


Operations Integration in Industrial Packaging - Demonstrates and applies knowledge of


manufacturing process, equipment and the physical flows of inbound parts to finished goods to


establish industrial packaging


Education, Licenses, Certifications:




Diploma or degree with post-graduation in packaging course with 2-3 years' experience in automotive/Manufacturing and packaging industry in industrial segment will be preferred. completion of


Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Bi-Dashboards, Generating reports and advanced level computer skills


Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education,

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Experience:




Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
