Job Summary
The Administration Trainee will support hospital administrative functions while gaining hands-on exposure to healthcare operations, patient services, and regulatory processes. This role is ideal for fresh graduates seeking practical experience in hospital administration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily hospital administrative and operational activities
Support patient registration, admissions, discharge, and billing documentation
Maintain and update patient records in compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies
Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments for smooth operations
Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and duty rosters
Support preparation of reports, MIS data, and hospital statistics
Assist in inventory tracking of administrative and non-medical supplies
Handle patient queries and direct them appropriately
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH/JCI guidelines, and safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by hospital management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital information systems preferred)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor and patient-centric approach
Willingness to work in shifts, if required
Preferred Skills
Internship or training experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Knowledge of hospital processes, medical terminology, and patient flow
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Multitasking and problem-solving abilities
