The School Admin Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the school's administrative operations. This position acts as the backbone of the institution by coordinating between management, staff, parents, and external agencies while maintaining discipline, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
. Administrative Operations
Oversee daily administrative activities of the school.
Maintain accurate records of students, staff, admissions, and attendance.
Prepare official letters, notices, circulars, and reports.
Manage office systems, documentation, and filing.
#### 2. Admissions & Front Office Management
Handle enquiries, admissions, and withdrawal processes.
Guide parents through admission procedures and documentation.
Ensure the front office functions professionally and courteously.
#### 3. Staff Coordination
Maintain staff records, service files, and attendance.
Coordinate with teachers and non-teaching staff for administrative needs.
Support HR functions such as appointment letters, leave tracking, and payroll coordination.
#### 4. Finance & Inventory Support
Assist in fee collection records and reconciliation.
Maintain purchase registers, stock, and inventory of school assets.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
#### 5. Compliance & Liaison
Ensure compliance with education board norms and government regulations.
Maintain records required for inspections and audits.
Act as liaison with education departments, boards, transport, and other agencies.
#### 6. Event & Operations Support
Support planning and execution of school events, examinations, and meetings.
Coordinate logistics such as transport, security, housekeeping, and maintenance.
#### 7. Discipline & School Culture
Enforce school policies among students and visitors.
Ensure a safe, orderly, and welcoming school environment.
Handle parent interactions professionally and escalate concerns appropriately.
