We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Administrative Assistant
to support the daily operations of our construction business. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize project documentation, contracts, and permits
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Schedule meetings, site visits, and appointments
Track and input invoices, purchase orders, and timesheets
Assist with payroll preparation and expense reports
Manage office supplies and order inventory
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
Support field teams with administrative tasks
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards
Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in a construction or trades-related company preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
High attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated and proactive
High school diploma required; further education in business administration or construction management is an asset
