Job Description

An Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of an office or department. They perform a variety of clerical, organizational, and communication tasks that help executives, managers, or teams focus on their core activities.

1. Core Responsibilities and Duties

Administrative Assistant duties can vary based on the organization's needs but generally include the following:

Communication and Coordination Answer and direct phone calls; greet visitors. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, conferences, and events. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails. Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff. Office Organization Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems. Order and manage office supplies and inventory. Maintain offices by planning and implementing office systems. Document Preparation Draft, write, and edit letters, memos, reports, and other documents. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes. Manage expense reports, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping. Administrative Support Support managers and employees with daily office needs. Manage travel arrangements and itineraries. Assist with project tracking and administrative functions including budgets and personnel records. Perform data entry and analysis. Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Technology Use Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace. Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
2. Qualifications and Skills

Education: At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred for some roles. Key Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team. Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills. Familiarity with office software and basic accounting. Professional demeanor and discretion in handling confidential info.

Pay: ₹14,346.42 - ₹20,847.76 per month
