The Admin cum Accounts Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting work along with administrative and office support functions. The role requires maintaining financial records, assisting in compliance, and ensuring smooth office operations in a charitable trust environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Finance:
Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents
Prepare and record cash, bank, and journal entries
Handle petty cash and daily cash book maintenance
Assist in bank reconciliation statements
Support preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
Assist in audit work and provide required records to auditors
Maintain donor records, receipts, and donation entries
Assist in statutory compliance related to Trust (as guided by management/CA)
Administrative Duties:
Handle general office administration and coordination
Maintain files, records, registers, and office documentation
Assist in correspondence, emails, and drafting routine letters
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and visitors
Maintain attendance records and basic HR-related documentation
Handle office supplies, stationery, and inventory records
Support trust activities, meetings, and events as required
Skills & Requirements:
Graduate in any field (Commerce / Accounting preferred)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of accounting software
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Prior experience in NGO/Charitable Trust will be an advantage
Experience:
1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred
Freshers with accounting background may also apply
