Coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
Maintaining organized and secure filing and record-keeping systems, often involving databases and software.
Facilities and Equipment Management: They ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained work environment. This includes:
Monitoring and procuring office supplies and equipment inventory.
Overseeing the maintenance, repair, or replacement of office machinery and systems.
Liaising with vendors and service providers, such as for catering, janitorial services, or security.
Financial and Budgeting Support: Administrative managers often assist with financial tasks and manage departmental budgets. Key tasks include:
Monitoring costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation and tracking.
Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Collaborating with finance and accounting departments on payroll and financial reporting.
Policy and Compliance: They ensure all administrative operations and personnel adhere to internal company policies and relevant legal or industry regulations (e.g., health and safety, data protection).
