: HR Assistant

Role Overview
The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the HR department in areas of recruitment, employee records management, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee engagement. The role requires attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality, especially in a jewellery industry environment where integrity and trust are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for candidates.
Coordinate joining formalities, background checks, and documentation of new hires.
Maintain employee master data and personal files.
2. Attendance & Payroll Support
Monitor daily attendance, leaves, and overtime records.
Prepare inputs for monthly payroll processing.
Ensure accuracy of attendance and leave management systems.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee records in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
Assist in handling PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and other statutory compliance documentation.
Support in HR audits and record keeping.
4. Employee Engagement & Support
Coordinate employee engagement activities, training, and welfare initiatives.
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies.
Support grievance redressal processes in coordination with HR Manager.
5. General HR Administration
Draft HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, relieving, etc.).
Manage HR-related documentation, MIS, and HR dashboards.
Assist in performance appraisal process coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate (preferably in HR / Commerce) or MBA in HR.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in retail, jewelry, or manufacturing sector.
Skills:
Good knowledge of HR operations, statutory compliance, and payroll support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software ( HR/attendance systems).

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
