An Admin cum Receptionist manages the front desk, acting as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing inquiries, while also providing essential administrative support like managing schedules, handling mail, ordering supplies, filing, and assisting various departments to ensure smooth daily office operations and a positive impression.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations: Greet and welcome visitors, manage visitor logs, and issue badges; maintain a tidy, presentable reception area.
Communication Handling: Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls; manage emails and general correspondence.
Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, manage calendars, handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries, and perform general tasks like filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Office Management: Monitor and order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure office equipment is functional.
Support for Teams: Assist HR, finance, or other departments with tasks such as preparing documents, reports, presentations, or coordinating meetings and events.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organization: Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
Technical: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Personal Attributes: Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
