1.

Contract Lifecycle Management



Draft, review, and negotiate all types of contracts, including Work Orders, Purchase Orders (POs), Joint Venture Agreements, and Subcontractor Agreements. Ensure contracts are legally sound, protect the company's interests, and comply with relevant laws and regulations. Maintain a centralized repository for all contracts and agreements, ensuring easy access and retrieval.

Legal Documentation & Record Keeping



Maintain and regularly update records of all legal documents, including Corporate Guarantees, Bonds, Indemnities, and other critical agreements. Implement a system for tracking the validity and renewal dates of legal documents, ensuring timely renewals and extensions.
3.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance



Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and national laws, including labor laws, environmental regulations, and building codes. Develop and implement policies to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards across all operations. Risk Management & Dispute Resolution



Identify potential legal risks in projects and operations, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Handle legal disputes, including contract breaches, construction defects, and payment issues, through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as appropriate. 5.

Legal Advisory & Support



Provide legal counsel to management on various issues, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for construction projects. Litigation Management



Oversee all litigation matters involving the company, coordinating with external counsel as needed. Develop strategies for effective defense or prosecution in legal proceedings. Training & Knowledge Dissemination

Collaboration with Other Departments



Work closely with departments like Finance, HR, Operations, and Project Management to provide legal insights and support. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to align legal considerations with business objectives.

Corporate Governance



Ensure that the company adheres to corporate governance standards and best practices. Assist in organizing board meetings, preparing resolutions, and maintaining statutory records.Checkbox
