About (Department)

The incubation centre at Anant National University is named Aarambh. The incubation centre is set up with the objective of promoting the entrepreneurship culture in and around the campus. This is done by offering various platforms to budding entrepreneurs where they can experiment with their business ideas, get mentorship from recognised entrepreneurs, interact with investors, government, as well as non-government agencies and create their own organisation/enterprise. With these objectives, the vision of Aarambh is "To be the most preferred destination for our students/budding entrepreneurs to use Design Thinking for solving societal problems with a long-term impact".



Along with the vision, the mission of the incubation centre is "To build the ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs to use design thinking as the pathway for creating opportunities and resolving the concerns of society. We envision our participants to build and implement feasible and probable ideas into actual business entities that are not only equitable but also provide sustainable solutions for India and the world".



The centre aims to create opportunities through interactive sessions with professionals, providing a link between several stakeholders, starting from students (aspiring and existing entrepreneurs) to government authorities, working professionals, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms and corporates through initiatives like interactive sessions, competitions, conferences, financing, etc. This would not only add value to the entrepreneur but also make an impact on society at large. This would nurture entrepreneurial thinking, promote business knowledge and inculcate confidence in every student.

Required Education Qualification

Any graduates, preferably with experience in Incubation and the startup ecosystem

#

Years of Experience

1-2 years in an incubation centre in an administrative role

#

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of innovators, incubated startups, mentors, events, funding activities, and institutional linkages. Ensure systematic documentation and filing (both physical and digital) in compliance with the guidelines of SSIP 2.0, MoE's Institution Innovation Council, and MSME Host Institution Scheme. Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and impact summaries for internal review and external submission. Support data collection and audit processes related to incubation programs, funding, and performance metrics. Facilitate outreach activities for the incubation centre at various forums, including exhibitions, conventions, conclaves, etc.

Key Skills

Experience of working in the incubation ecosystem. Proficiency in maintaining structured documentation, reports, and using tools like MS Office/Google Workspace and MIS Portal. Track record of building, managing, and growing multi-stakeholder networks such as academic institutions, government, and industry. * Excellent communication skills.
