The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing phone calls, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the school's front office.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate personnel, and take messages as needed.
Monitor visitor access and maintain security protocols, including signing in/out procedures.
Manage the school's main email inbox and respond or forward messages accordingly.
Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate student absences or tardiness to the appropriate staff.
Schedule appointments and meetings for staff or administrative personnel.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, data entry, and managing mail.
Support the school administration with correspondence, newsletters, and document preparation.
Maintain supplies for the front office and request replenishment as needed.
Respond to student inquiries or concerns and offer basic assistance or direct them to the appropriate office.
