Job Summary



This role is a role within the Financial Crime Analytics team in WRB. Its responsibilities entail:

Responsible for performing the model activities for customer risk assessment (CRA) models well as aligning with model sponsors from WRB & CIB on model development & delivery changes. Responsible for alignment with CFCC 2nd line function for the risk assessment process, as well as support regulatory activity, and represent the model owner in the financial crime compliance model approval council (FCCMAC) in accordance with the model risk type framework. Responsible for driving the alignment between the customer risk feeder risk detection models (i.e., transaction approvals, digital applications, customer due diligence [CDD] systems), the customer risk assessment models, and downstream systems engaging with the inferred financial crime risk, based on configured policy of controls alignment to risk types. Aligning with TTO/CDO on the analytics platform and the data feeds utilized for the development and hosting of the financial crime analytics models.

Skills and Experience


Bachelor's degree in bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like computer science or statistics Minimum 5 years of experience Proficiency in Python, SQL (SAS good to have). Understanding of ETL pipelines Knowledge of data mining, statistical analysis Understanding of ETL pipelines Understanding of Financial Crime Risk Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Problem solving and Analytical Thinking
