Responsibilities -
Performing and reviewing complex data manipulations and individual benefit calculations for defined benefit pension plans.
Supporting pension scheme valuations and delivering accurate accounting disclosures for U.S.-based corporate clients.
Participating in and leading cross-departmental actuarial projects while acting as a key resource for consulting teams.
Partnering with team leaders to manage projects, mentor junior analysts, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Building strong relationships with onshore and offshore client teams through effective communication and execution.
Identifying efficiency improvements, monitoring project budgets, and maintaining accurate time-tracking.
Contributing to the development of tools, processes, and training content to elevate the actuarial team's capabilities.
Requirements -
7+ years of experience in U.S. retirement actuarial services, specifically in defined benefit plan valuations, accounting, or manual calculations.
Proven track record of training, mentoring, and reviewing work performed by junior analysts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from complex data and identify trends.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with various valuation tools or systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
Strong leadership qualities and a client-focused approach to work.
