Role Overview

The Acquisition Manager (Government Projects & CSR) will lead WorkBuds' strategic outreach and acquisition efforts across government departments, state missions, skill development schemes, and CSR entities. The role requires a strong understanding of the government project ecosystem, experience in skilling and livelihood programs, and the ability to convert project opportunities into long-term collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Government Project Acquisition

Identify, track, and pursue opportunities under Central and State skill development schemes. Lead acquisition efforts for projects such as:
a. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY)

b. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

c. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK)

d. PM Vishwakarma Scheme

e. Utkarsh Bangla (West Bengal)

...and other emerging government-led livelihood, entrepreneurship, and capacity-building programs.

Build strong relationships with government authorities, state missions, sector skill councils, and implementation partners. Prepare project proposals, business plans, EoIs, RFP responses, and documentation in line with government guidelines. Track policy updates, scheme changes, new tenders, and upcoming project opportunities.

2. CSR Partnership Development

Identify CSR prospects aligned with skilling, employability, community development, and livelihood-generation themes. Identify CSR prospects aligned with skilling, employability, community development, and livelihood-generation schemes, including opportunities connected to MoRD, NSDC, NIRD, and NASDAC initiatives. Build and nurture relationships with CSR heads, foundations, corporate sustainability leaders, and institutional partners associated with national skilling and rural development bodies. Facilitate concept notes, and partnership pitch decks tailored to CSR mandates as well. Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, deliverables, budgets, and impact frameworks in compliance with guidelines and best practices followed by these government-linked institutions.
