Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end testing of merchant acquiring systems Validate POS transactions, chargebacks, settlements, and fee calculations Review and verify ISO 8583 messages for accuracy Conduct regression, functional, and UAT testing Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams Document test cases, scenarios, and defect logs Provide post-production support during rollouts

Requirements:

5+ years of testing experience in merchant acquiring or payments Good understanding of ISO 8583, POS transactions, and clearing/settlement flows Experience with POS simulators and acquiring test environments Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and UAT testing Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM) Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured) Knowledge of EMV, NFC, or contactless payments Familiarity with acquirer-hosted platforms or switch environments Experience in both issuer and acquirer testing (nice to have)
