Chartered Accountant

Highlight of the engagement opportunity :
- Nature of role: Full time

- Number of years of experience expected: 0-2 years

- Areas of past experience preferred: Financial risk management, IFRS, quantitative modelling

- Educational qualification expected: Chartered Accountant/Graduation/post-graduation

- Additional qualifications/ certifications required: None

- Preferable additional certifications: FRM / CFA

- Preferred geography of previous work experience: India

- Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English

Key responsibility areas :

- Provide advisory services to the client on accounting areas such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 or equivalent local standards

- Advisory projects in the areas of credit risk management, market risk management, ALM and quantitative modelling

- Accounting treatment for different products as per the local regulatory requirements and accounting standards

- Assist in development of software in the areas of credit risk, market risk and IFRS

- Develop software using our no-code platform

- Drive the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects

- Understand the client's business, key strategic essentials of the client, industry and market dynamics, and make/ implement recommendations appropriate for the client's business needs to drive continuous improvement and generate value

- Stakeholder management in a project along with project management

Selection process:

We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:

- Case study: A case study will be administered to evaluate the critical thinking ability and problem solving thought process

- Interview: There are expected to be at least 3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.

- Final discussion on career and compensation: Post final selection, a separate discussion will be set up to discuss compensation and career growth. You are encouraged to seek any clarifications you have during this discussion.
