Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Team Leader to supervise and lead a team of accountants. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of accountants by assigning tasks, guiding them, and conducting performance evaluations.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, GST, and TDS.
Review financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and senior management to analyze financial data and support strategic decisions.
Develop and implement accounting processes, internal controls, and best practices to improve financial operations.
Conduct periodic audits of financial records and support statutory audits; identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
Train, mentor, and upskill team members to strengthen their accounting and compliance knowledge.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities and provide insights based on financial trends.
Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
Drive process automation and efficiencies to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors; provide required documentation and address audit observations.
Work closely with finance and HR teams on payroll, tax filings, and employee benefits.
Monitor key financial indicators, identify variances, and prepare management-level financial reports.
Promote a collaborative and positive work environment with strong teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
CA Final Dropout candidates are eligible to apply.
7-8 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in a CA firm.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory audits.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP systems) and MS Excel.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
