Roles and Responsibilities of a Account Staff :

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Handle accounts payable/receivable entries. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements. Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny. Ensure timely GST and TDS filings and compliance with statutory requirements. Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required. Data entry and verification in accounting systems (e.g., Tally, ERP). Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven work experience in a similar accounting or finance role (1-3 years preferred) Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) Strong analytical and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
