De Mandarin Hotel & Resorts, located in the heart of Candolim, Goa, is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Finance team and support the smooth functioning of daily billing and collections operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily billing operations and ensure accurate posting of charges.
Prepare and send invoices to guests, travel agents, corporate clients, and other business partners.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
Reconcile guest ledger and city ledger accounts regularly.
Maintain updated records of all receivables and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Process credit card payments, verify approvals, and reconcile transactions.
Prepare aging reports and assist with monthly closing activities.
Ensure compliance with hotel accounting policies and financial standards.
Support the Finance Manager in audits and other reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel PMS/accounting software (e.g., IDS, Opera, or similar).
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
