Job Title:

Accounts payable lead
Location: Ghansoli (Navi Mumbai)

Role Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for overall P2P process viz: Manage vendor payments and ensure proper expense recording in books. Liaison with Internal & Statutory auditors. Should be able to manage a team size of 1-2 resources. Added knowledge of Fixed Asset accounting.

What will you do?

Process Domestic and foreign vendor Invoices post 2/3 way verification. Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Good knowledge on accruals.

. Knowledge of preparing Balance Sheet & P&L Schedules.
. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements Understand expense accounts and cost centers. Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (MSME, W-9, GST, TDS etc.) Liaison with Internal & Statutory Auditors for resolving audit queries. Recording of addition & deletion of fixed assets and calculated depreciation

What skills required?

B.Com. with an experience of 5+ years in accounts payable role. Candidate should have an exposure of working with Industry/ Corporates. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles. Sound knowledge of TDS. Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of Tally is an added advantage. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong understanding of Finance systems and processes
. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
