The candidate should be experienced in using SAP systems and efficient in MS Excel, MS powerpoint too. Responsibilities and Duties

• Daily/ weekly review of the entries passed in the system from completeness and correctness perspective
• Checking the accuracy of the accounting entries passed from Ind AS perspective.
• Handling the team for ensuring timely completion of the month end closing of books of Accounts.
• Preparation and review of the financial statements (including Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash flow statements and related schedules) for entities on monthly basis in compliance with the Ind AS.
• Passing month end closing entries like current/ non-current classifications, inter-company balance reconciliation, recognition of provisions, amortization of prepaid expenses, booking of accruals in relation to interest expenses and other expenses, reviewing depreciation computations etc.
• Preparation of board deck on quarterly basis for the top management explaining the financial performance of the entity and quarter-on-quarter variances.
• Holding meeting with the CFO/ Financial controller of the organization to explain the board deck prepared or highlighting any other issues that may crop up from time to time
