Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Deputy Manager - Accounts Payable

to oversee and manage all aspects of vendor payments and related financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, vendor management, and process control within a manufacturing setup, preferably in the textile industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the complete

Accounts Payable function

ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Review and verify

vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment terms

. Handle

vendor reconciliation

and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Monitor

GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt)

and coordinate with procurement and stores teams for closures. Ensure

timely processing of vendor payments

, advances, and adjustments. Prepare and monitor

aging reports

, ensuring no overdue payables. Maintain accurate records of

TDS, GST input credits, and other statutory compliances

related to payments. Support

internal and statutory audits

by providing necessary data and documentation. Implement and monitor

internal financial controls

to improve process efficiency. Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and finance teams for smooth workflow. Assist in

cash flow forecasting

related to payable commitments. Review and approve

expense claims

and ensure adherence to company policies. Drive

automation and process improvement initiatives

in the payable function.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce or Accounting (CA Inter/MBA Finance preferred). Strong understanding of

accounting principles, taxation (TDS/GST)

, and vendor management. Hands-on experience with

ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle)

. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy. Prior experience in

manufacturing industry

, is highly desirable.
