Susquehanna Management Services Private Limited (SMS) of Mohali, Punjab is currently hiring an
Accounts Payable (AP) Associate.
SMS provides back office, accounting and support services to US-based Companies. The AP Associate is responsible for recording invoices and reconciling payments along with other members of the AP Team.
AP Associate Roles & Responsibilities
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Technical and Functional Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
More than 1 year of experience in accounts payable preferred
Proactive communication skills
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
Ability to analyze information and identify deviations from expectations
Detail oriented
Willingness to learn as well as to develop others
Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel and Outlook
